The FirstClass® Notify extension provides notification over the AppleTalk network when mail is delivered to your FirstClass mailbox. You do not need to be logged on, and it takes very little memory from your Macintosh.
INSTALLATION
1. If you are running the old FC Notifier first remove the old FirstClass Notification DA (from your Apple Menu) and FirstClass INIT (from your Extensions folder). You should also remove the old FirstClass Notify Prefs file (from your Preferences folder).
2. Drop the FirstClass® Notify file onto your System Folder.
3. Go to the Chooser, select the FirstClass Notify icon. Set the AppleTalk Zone to be the zone that your FirstClass server is in. Now pick your FirstClass server's name from the list.
4. Press the SetUp... button to configure the options. When finished, press OK and close the Chooser window.
